Noname Gypsy is the young, sweet sounding lyricist at the center of Chicago's hip-hop renaissance. Her raps sound like Marvin Gaye and Gwendolyn Brooks had a baby who sipped Henny. Currently in the studio finishing her first solo project, Telefone, Noname has worked with many of the leaders in Chicago's new school including Vic Mensa, Saba of Pivot, the soul-band The O'My's and was featured on the BET-nominated mixtape of the year, Chance The Rapper's Acid Rap. Her fan base is growing daily due to her innovative style and refreshing music videos "Paradise" and "Hold Me Up." She's got room enough for everybody on her rubber ducky spaceship, get on board.
